This antique necklace is composed of oval Murano glass beads, each featuring colorful millefiori patterns characteristic of the Venetian tradition. The beads showcase a vibrant palette including red, blue, green, white, yellow, and black, with floral and star-shaped decorations typical of hand-blown and decorated glasswork from Murano.

Each bead is unique, adorned with multicolored patterns arranged in concentric layers, evoking the millefiori ("thousand flowers") technique, which involves inserting small colored glass rods into the mass. The beads are strung on a thread, separated by small visible spacer elements, which ensures their mobility and highlights each pattern.

The necklace is equipped with a screw clasp made of metal, in an aged bronze color, typical of jewelry from the first half of the 20th century and consistent with a manufacturing date around the 1950s. The finish shows a slight patina on the metal, attesting to its vintage authenticity.

The visible side shows about twenty beads, all of regular oval shape, without any apparent chips or cracks. The patterns are clear, with a beautiful glass shine, and each bead displays a great diversity of colors and decorations, which gives the whole a very decorative and sought-after appearance for a piece of jewelry of this style.

The necklace is presented on a white textile background, which highlights the intensity of the colors and the richness of detail in the Murano glasswork. No visible markings on the beads or the clasp on this side.

Condition

Used jewelry, sold as is. Shows a natural patina on the clasp, with no noticeable flaws on the visible beads. The whole is in very good visual condition for a vintage necklace of this era.
