Description

Antique thimble, typical of French regional souvenirs, presented here with a smooth, glossy finish evocative of white porcelain. On the visible side, there is a colorful illustration depicting an ibex, an emblematic animal of the Pyrenees, standing on a stylized mountain backdrop. The inscription "PYRÉNÉES" is clearly legible in black letters below the design.

The top of the thimble features the classic textured surface with regular indentations, suitable for sewing. The visible part shows primary colors: white, brown, black, green, and red, with a simple and naive graphic design, characteristic of souvenir productions from past decades.

The decoration, applied to the front, highlights the regional theme of the Pyrenees and animal iconography. The outer surface shows a uniform gloss, with no additional decorative patterns on the visible area, apart from the main motif and a few touches of color around the animal.

The thimble is presented on a gold-decorated case, not included, which emphasizes the contrast between the thimble's whiteness and the luxurious appearance of the stand. No major defects are visible on the exposed side, apart from some tiny traces of use consistent with a second-hand item.

Used item, sold as is. The visible side has a very good general appearance, with no apparent chips or cracks on the observed surface. The colors of the decoration remain vibrant. Some slight traces of use may be visible.
