Description

This 45 rpm vinyl record honors Gilbert Bécaud, an iconic figure of French chanson. The sleeve features a stylized portrait of the singer in green tones on a pale pink background, with his handwritten name in the upper left corner. Several titles are listed in black bands: "Je veux te dire adieu", "Laissez faire, laissez dire", "Les enfants oubliés" and "Que toi". The "La Voix de Son Maître" logo is clearly visible in the lower left corner, indicating the historic record label. The visual, typical of the 1960s, combines refined graphics and strong contrast, characteristic of this period in French phonographic publishing.

The front of the sleeve shows signs of use: slightly marked corners, handling marks, and visible wear in the upper right part. The printing remains clear, the inscriptions perfectly legible. The reference number "7 EGF 140" appears in the upper right, accompanied by a "2" in a black square, a common detail on pressings of that era.

The sleeve is in the classic 45 rpm vinyl format, with a side opening not visible here. The texture of the cardboard and the matte appearance are observable on the surface. No decorative elements are added other than the portrait and the titles, in a sober and effective graphic style.

The dominant color of the portrait and the minimalist composition reinforce the visual identity of the record, typical of French productions of the 60s. This striking graphic style facilitates quick identification of the artist on shelves or turntables, meeting the standards of record companies of that period.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The sleeve shows traces of wear, particularly on the edges and the upper right part, with no major tears visible on the displayed side. The inscriptions remain clear and the graphic composition is well preserved.
