Description

This 45 rpm vinyl record, released by Pathé, features the original cover of the "Super 45 Tours" titled Refrains de toujours by Aimé Barelli. The visible side of the cover combines a burgundy and cream background, adorned with white geometric patterns, typical of 1950s-1960s graphic design. In the upper right corner is a black and white photograph of Aimé Barelli playing the trumpet, adding an authentic retro touch to the ensemble.

The song list printed on the left includes: "Quand refleuriront les lilas blancs - Slow", "Je t’ai donné mon cœur", "Bonsoir Madame la Lune", and "Ramona - Slow". The inscription "Refrains de toujours par Aimé Barelli" is clearly visible on the right side. The Pathé logo appears distinctly at the bottom left, confirming the original edition.

The lower right corner displays the mention "Super 45 Tours", accompanied by the reference number "45 EG 103" and the term "Microsillon Medium", details sought after by collectors of old vinyl records and essential for precise identification of this disc.

The cover shows visible signs of use: rub marks, blunted corners, slight scratches, and minor surface wear, common characteristics on old vinyl records. The overall condition remains legible and presents a beautiful vintage appearance, typical of Pathé editions from this period.

The general aesthetic, associated with the typography and graphic style, perfectly reflects the retro spirit of the 50s-60s, with a careful layout and a spotlight on the artist in performance.
