45 rpm vinyl record presented here in its original sleeve, illustrated on the front. This is an Extended Play (EP) released by Philips, "Microsillon Medium High Fidelity" series, titled "Ritmo Tropical", performed by Xavier Cugat and his orchestra. The front of the sleeve features a black and yellow photograph of two dancers in motion, evoking the tropical and festive atmosphere of Latin music. Several inscriptions are visible, including "Ritmo Tropical", "Xavier Cugat and his orchestra", as well as the tracklist: "Gay Merengue", "Las Chismosas", "Ritmo Tropical", "El Merengue".
