Description

45 rpm vinyl record, illustrated on the sleeve with the title "Mary Had A Little Lamb". The visible side features a large, colorful illustration of a young girl in an apron, feeding several lambs in a pastoral setting. The drawing, in a naive style, is reminiscent of children's books from the 60s and 70s. The title "Mary Had A Little Lamb" is inscribed at the bottom of the sleeve, in a large and legible typeface. A reference code is visible in the upper left corner: "C006-05058 M".

The sleeve shows significant signs of wear: several old adhesive tapes (or remnants of tape) are visible at the corners and bottom, likely to reinforce or repair the cover. Stains, dirt, and discoloration appear on the light surface of the cardboard, indicating advanced wear. However, the central illustration remains clear and well-preserved in its colors, with no major damage to the visible part.

In the foreground, several small animal figurines are placed in front of the record. Their appearance suggests old toys or miniature animals, not directly related to the record, and they are not part of the main item offered. The background decor, with colorful stained glass and stone architecture, provides a retro atmosphere but does not concern the item for sale.

No manufacturer's mark is explicitly legible on the front, apart from the reference code. The sleeve appears to be made of matte-surfaced cardboard, with no apparent glossy effect. The visual, signed "C.M. Burd", suggests an Anglo-Saxon edition, typical of educational or children's records from the second half of the 20th century.

The vinyl record is not visible in the photo; only the illustrated sleeve is shown. No additional details regarding the condition of the record, the presence of accessories, or the content of the back are observable in this image.

Used item sold as is, to be restored. Sleeve with signs of wear, visible adhesive tape, stains, and discoloration. Record not tested.

Did you know? The song "Mary Had a Little Lamb" is a traditional English nursery rhyme, first published in 1830 in the United States. It has been adapted numerous times into educational records for children, especially from the 1950s to the 1970s, a period when illustrated sleeves were common to attract young listeners.
