This vintage administrative document, visible in the photo, is an official prefectural decree issued by the prefecture of Bouches-du-Rhône. It is a typed leaflet on Republic of France letterhead, dated 1939, concerning the Marseille area. The main title "ARRÊTÉ" (Decree) is printed at the top, followed by the mention of the prefect and the relevant department ("Domaine public de l?État" - State Public Domain).

The text, which is clearly legible, details an administrative authorization related to the Compagnie Générale des Pétroles. Several handwritten annotations and official stamps are visible, including a round blue stamp dated April 14, 1939, and a second handwritten stamp with the same date. Two blue fiscal stamps are also visible on the left side of the document, one of which is marked "90 centimes", testifying to the official validation of the act at that time.

The layout is typical of administrative documents from the 1930s-40s: typewritten text, regular margins, underlined lines for company names and articles.
