Description

Old embroidered patch depicting Mont Aigoual, visible on the front of the item. The patch is in the shape of a classic coat of arms, with a black outline, highlighted by golden embroidery forming decorative scrolls on the upper sides. In the center, an embroidered scene illustrates an emblematic building set on a stylized mountain landscape, with shades of gray, green, and yellow, against a vibrant blue background symbolizing the sky.

The upper part of the patch bears the inscription "MONT AIGOUAL" in clearly legible white letters. At the bottom, there is the mention "ALT 1567 m", indicating the altitude of the summit. The embroidery features clean finishes and contrasting colors, typical of antique and retro textile productions. The recognizable central motif evokes the Mont Aigoual meteorological observatory, an emblematic site in the Cévennes massif.
