This illustrated envelope, visible in the photo, is a first-day cover (FDC) dedicated to the Xth Winter Olympic Games in Grenoble, dated January 27, 1968. The front illustration features a figure skater performing against a stylized blue background, accompanied by the inscription "PATINAGE ARTISTIQUE" (FIGURE SKATING) in red letters. The overall design reflects the graphic aesthetics of the 1960s, with subdued colors and dynamic drawing.

An official postal stamp "JEUX OLYMPIQUES D’HIVER 38e GRENOBLE PREMIER JOUR 27 JANV. 68" (WINTER OLYMPIC GAMES 38th GRENOBLE FIRST DAY JAN. 27, 68) is clearly visible, struck in black, along with a French Republic stamp depicting an athlete, positioned in the upper right. The inscription "PREMIER JOUR D’ÉMISSION HISTORIQUE F.D.C." (HISTORIC FIRST DAY OF ISSUE F.D.C.) and the serial number "No 628" are also printed on the front.

The envelope is protected by a transparent plastic sleeve, indicating careful preservation. The graphics, colors, and inscriptions are clearly legible. A small handwritten mark "117" is visible in a box at the bottom right.
