The main visual features a stylized bird inspired by the art of Girona Cathedral, accompanied by inscriptions in Spanish and English ("primer día - first day of issue"). Two stamps are affixed, one illustrating a colorful scene, the other an animal motif, both indicating "ESPAÑA". The cancellation is clearly visible, dated in Madrid.
