Description

As a philatelic specialist, I am offering an illustrated envelope, visible in the photo, franked with a French "Council of Europe" stamp valued at 0.25 francs, and postmarked in Strasbourg. The envelope features a commemorative postmark from the session of the European Parliament, with a stylized map of France and the inscription "SESSION du PARLEMENT EUROPÉEN STRASBOURG" (SESSION of the EUROPEAN PARLIAMENT STRASBOURG).

The stamp is affixed in the upper right, illustrated with the European flag composed of golden stars on a blue background, accompanied by the inscription "CONSEIL DE L’EUROPE" (COUNCIL OF EUROPE). The circular postmark is partially legible, bearing the inscription "STRASBOURG" as well as an incomplete date. The overall presentation of the envelope is neat, in a protective plastic sleeve, which visually preserves its surface condition.

On the front, in the lower left, is the inscription "IMPRIMÉ" (PRINTED). On the right side, the sender's information is printed: "SCOTEM, 25, Rue Calmels, PARIS-18e". A small handwritten sticker indicates "6F". The whole is typical of commemorative philatelic envelopes issued during European institutional events in Strasbourg.
