Illustrated First Day Cover issued on the occasion of Stamp Day 1961, visible under protective sleeve. The envelope features a colorful illustration depicting an 18th-century postman holding a letter, accompanied by two women. The illustration includes a coat of arms with a sailboat and the date "1766", as well as the inscription "La Poste de Chamoussel".

On the right side of the envelope is a stamp matching the illustration, itself canceled by a circular postmark dated March 18, 1961, with the inscription "Journée du Timbre" (Stamp Day) and a bell motif. The transparent plastic presentation allows for a clear view of the object's general condition, which appears well-preserved from the visible side.

The top face of the envelope also shows the inscription "Éditée par la Fédération des Sociétés Philatéliques Françaises" (Published by the Federation of French Philatelic Societies), proving its official edition. A handwritten "10F" cartouche is affixed in the lower right corner. The set is distinguished by its vibrant colors (blue, red, beige) and its typical graphic design of French philatelic issues from the early 1960s.

The First Day Cover (FDC) postmark and the period illustration make this envelope a prized item in philately, especially for research on thematic issues related to French postal history. The inscriptions are clear and legible on the visible side.

The cardboard backing and plastic protection preserve the visual condition of the envelope, without apparent deformation or creases on the front side. No major defects are observable on the visible area; the graphics remain well-contrasted, and the stamp is not altered.
