Illustrated First Day Cover (FDC) philatelic envelope, issued for the 5th Intercommunal World Cooperation Conference of Twin Cities, held in Royan from April 15 to 18, 1968. On the visible side, the envelope features a colorful illustration depicting two stylized figures holding a globe in front of a modern building, surrounded by numerous national flags. The graphic frame is highlighted by a red border with geometric patterns.

At the top left, the event title is displayed in white and blue letters. The bottom of the illustration bears the inscription "PREMIER JOUR D’ÉMISSION – FIRST DAY COVER," certifying that it is an official commemorative cover. Two clearly legible circular postmarks are affixed to the right side of the envelope, bearing the date April 13, 1968, in Royan, with the mention "CITES UNIES" and a reference to the conference.

The envelope's surface appears smooth, protected by a transparent plastic sleeve. A small handwritten insert "10F" is visible at the bottom right, likely an old price indication.
