Illustrated First Day Cover (FDC) issued to commemorate the "Battles of Mont Mouchet." The main visual features a colorful illustration depicting armed French resistance fighters in front of a tower and a wooded landscape, with the inscription "COMBATS DU MONT MOUCHET" at the top. The illustration is framed by a golden border, giving it a refined and commemorative look.

The envelope bears the inscription "PREMIER JOUR D’ÉMISSION" (First Day Cover) printed in purple at the bottom left, a typical feature of collectible FDCs. The circular postmark is clearly legible: it reads "COMBATS DU MONT MOUCHET – PREMIER JOUR – 15-7 JUIN 1969 – SAINT-FLOUR," precisely dating the issue and cancellation. The visible stamp is also dedicated to this event, with motifs reminiscent of the Resistance and World War II, and the inscription "RÉPUBLIQUE FRANÇAISE."
