Description

This illustrated envelope is a "first day cover" (FDC) philatelic item, dedicated to the 25^th anniversary of the United Nations (UN). On the visible side, it features a stylized illustration of the UN headquarters, associated with the organization's official logo, in a vivid color design: orange, green, and black on a white background. The envelope bears the mention "PREMIER JOUR D'ÉMISSION" (FIRST DAY OF ISSUE) at the top, as well as the serial number "N° 750" printed directly on the support.

An official stamp is affixed to the envelope, accompanied by two round postmarks indicating "ORGANISATION DES NATIONS UNIES - PARIS" and the date "24 OCT. 1970", confirming the first day cover nature of the mail. The clearly visible stamp also features a visual related to the UN. The entire item is protected by a transparent plastic sleeve, as is often the case to preserve the condition of philatelic items.
