First Day Cover (FDC), illustrated with a colorful portrait of Philip the Fair, King of France. This commemorative envelope features a large color illustration, framed with a golden motif, depicting the crowned king and a stylized historical scene in a medieval setting. The inscription "Les grands rois de l'histoire de France" (The great kings of French history) appears at the top, and the name "Philippe le Bel" (Philip the Fair) is clearly visible in the center of the illustration.

At the bottom left of the envelope, the words "Premier Jour d'Émission – First Day Cover" are printed in red, confirming the philatelic nature of the item.
