Illustrated First Day Cover, dedicated to the Château de Saint-Germain-en-Laye (Yvelines). The visible side features a colorful illustration of the castle as it appeared in the 19th century, accompanied by the caption "Le Château au XIXᵉ Siècle" (The Castle in the 19th Century). The envelope clearly displays the title "SAINT-GERMAIN-en-LAYE (Yvelines)" in the upper right corner.

Two "PREMIER JOUR" (FIRST DAY) postmarks are applied to the right side, both dated June 3, 1967, with a stylized representation of the castle and the mention "78 PREMIER JOUR SAINT-GERMAIN-EN-LAYE". The envelope also includes a matching postage stamp, illustrating the monument from another angle, still related to Saint-Germain-en-Laye.

The top right corner indicates in green "PREMIER JOUR D'ÉMISSION – 3 JUIN 1967 – FIRST DAY COVER", confirming the philatelic nature of this mail.
