Description

Old, round cheese label, from a Pays d'Auge Camembert. This label features dominant dark green and black, enhanced with gold and white lettering. The main mention "RENOUARD" appears in large gold letters on a black background, while the upper part indicates "CAMEMBERT DU PAYS D'AUGE" on a gold background.

The central area highlights the producer "G. HARDY", with the mention "Fabriqué par Le Renouard Orne", as well as two illustrated gold medals, typical of agricultural competition distinctions of the period. The inscriptions "TRÈS DOUX" (VERY SOFT) and "EXTRA GRAS" (EXTRA FAT) appear on either side, accompanied by the mention "45% MATIÈRE GRASSE" (45% FAT) at the bottom of the label, symmetrically placed on each side of a stylized coat of arms.

The central coat of arms, with heraldic motifs and surmounted by a gold crown, occupies the lower part. The terms "SURCHOIX" (PREMIUM SELECTION) and "EXPORTATION" (EXPORT) encircle the base of the label, highlighting the product's superior quality and export vocation. The whole presents a matte finish with a visible patinated effect, testifying to its age.
