This old pennant is an official commemorative item from the 29th "International Finanzsportturnier" held in Budapest in 1984. Triangular in shape with an upper base, it features a striking visual in the colors of the German flag: black, red, and yellow arranged diagonally. On the visible side, the pennant is adorned with central embroidery representing a stylized building accompanied by the inscription "Bottrop" in dark red, as well as several texts embroidered in white and gold. The main inscriptions state: "29. INT. FINANZSPORTTURNIER BUDAPEST 1984" and "BUNDESREPUBLIK DEUTSCHLAND – FUSSBALL – TENNIS – TISCHTENNIS – SCHACH," indicating the participation of the Federal Republic of Germany in football, tennis, table tennis, and chess.

The pennant is bordered by a matching black, red, and yellow braided trim, highlighting its German origin. A twisted hanging cord, attached to a turned wooden rod with decorative finials, allows for wall mounting. The lower part is adorned with a matching multi-colored tassel, a classic detail of exchange sports pennants between teams.
