Description
This official philatelic souvenir sheet presents a commemorative issue dedicated to the centenary of the Caisse Nationale d’Épargne. The visible side shows a graphic composition dominated by a large orange frame with fine vertical stripes, illustrated with a stylized motif where a blue, white, red tricolor ribbon undulates in front of a white silhouette topped with a blue star. In the upper right, two postage stamps are affixed: one green and the other pink, both adorned with a similar graphic motif, and franked with a commemorative postmark "100 ans - 21 sept. 1981 - Paris".

The souvenir sheet is printed on white paper, reinforced by a gold border, and features an explanatory text at the bottom of the page, tracing the history and importance of the Caisse Nationale d’Épargne in France. The name of the illustrator, René Dessirier, is mentioned, highlighting the creation of the two included postal stamps.

On the left side, technical information is visible, such as the print run of the issue, the sheet number "1453", as well as mentions related to the CEF (Connaissance et Étude de la Philatélie Française). Two perforations are present on the margin, typical of sheets designed to be inserted into collector's albums.

The overall composition of this souvenir sheet highlights both the modern graphics of the early 1980s and the institutional aspect of the commemorated event. The vibrant colors and clean style bear witness to the era of its creation, while emphasizing the symbolism of savings and the nation through the tricolor ribbon.
