This CEF philatelic sheet commemorates the European elections of June 10, 1979, illustrated with a stylized map of Europe surrounded by colorful national flags. On the right side of the sheet is an explanatory printed text detailing the composition and role of European institutions at that time. The upper right part is adorned with a postage stamp with a face value of 1.20 francs, on which geometric patterns and the flag of the European Community are visible. A First Day cover postmark from Strasbourg, dated June 9, 1979, is affixed to the stamp and the sheet, certifying the special issue.

The sheet is inserted into a perforated plastic sleeve, typical of CEF (Covers Éditions Philatéliques Françaises) presentations, with the catalog number "3931" visible at the bottom left. The sheet has a golden border, adding a touch of distinction to the whole.

The print quality and clarity of the colors are clearly visible in the photo, as is the neat layout, typical of CEF editions. The accompanying text and the First Day postmark add a historical and documentary dimension to this philatelic sheet.
