This CEF philatelic sheet commemorates the tricentennial of diplomatic relations between France and Thailand. It features a meticulous layout with, on the left, a colorful illustration signed by Huguette Samson, depicting a traditional Thai female figure in ceremonial attire, with hands joined in a greeting gesture, against a backdrop of historic vessels and a stylized radiating sun. The border is adorned with motifs evoking Asian art and European classicism, highlighting the meeting of the two cultures.

In the upper right part, the sheet includes a French postage stamp with a face value of 3.20 francs, accompanied by a commemorative postmark canceled in Paris, dated May 20, 1986. The cancellation bears the inscription "Tricentenaire des relations diplomatiques France Thaïlande" (Tricentennial of Diplomatic Relations France Thailand) with an official emblem in the center. The printed text on the right recounts the history of diplomatic interactions between the two countries since the 17th century.

The entire item is presented in a transparent perforated plastic sleeve, typical of CEF sheets, with the reference "N° 757 du catalogue CEF" inscribed at the top left. The individual number of the copy, 9018, is visible at the bottom left. The printing is clear, with vibrant colors and precise graphic details, characteristic of CEF productions from that period.

The sheet is in very good condition apparent on the visible side: no folds, stains, or tears observed. The protective sleeve shows a slight ripple on the left edge, without affecting the integrity of the sheet itself. All graphic elements, texts, and cancellation are perfectly legible.

The print run for this issue is limited to 33,800 copies, making it a prized item for philatelists interested in international relations and the Asia-Europe theme. The illustration with vibrant colors and the print quality make it a document as decorative as it is informative.

Used item sold as is. Only the front has been observed; no major visible defects on this side. Protective sleeve included.
