This CEF philatelic sheet is dedicated to Uluru National Park (Australia), also known as Ayers Rock. The visible side features a carefully composed design: on the left, a stamp illustrating the famous Australian monolith (face value 3.00) is affixed with a "First Day" postmark dated August 2, 1986, in Paris, bearing the UNESCO mention. The title "Uluru National Park Australia" is printed at the top left, in black letters on a white background. On the right, a large color illustration shows the characteristic Uluru landscape under a cloudy sky, with the typical pale yellow desert vegetation of the region in the foreground.

The sheet includes a printed text box recounting the geological and cultural history of the site, highlighting its importance for the Aborigines and its recognition by UNESCO. The artist Odette Baillais is credited for the design of the postage stamp and the main illustration.
