Description

CEF philatelic sheet presented in a pouch, from the "Série Touristique 1971". This sheet highlights five emblematic sites in France, each accompanied by its corresponding stamp and First Day cover postmark. The sites represented are: Sedan (Ardennes) with a view of the Château-fort, Riom (Puy-de-Dôme) with the Sainte-Chapelle, Dole (Jura) and the Fontaine de l'Enfant, Gorges de l'Ardèche (Vallon Pont d’Arc), and Riquewihr (Haut-Rhin) with the Porte Tour du Dolder.

The visible side features a meticulous composition, alternating color photographs and black and white illustrations, surrounded by a decorative border. The stamps are all cancelled with the First Day postmark, each legible and positioned next to the corresponding view. The cancellations bear the date of 1971, consistent with the series.

On the left, the mention "N° 176 du Catalogue CEF" appears at the top, and the sheet bears the individual number "16670" at the bottom left. The whole is inserted into a three-hole punched pouch, typical of CEF editions, facilitating its storage in a specialized binder.

The main colors are white, black, blue and various shades from the photographs and stamps. The texts are perfectly legible, and the general presentation is that of an official philatelic document, published by CEF (Cérémonies, Événements, Fêtes).

The sheet shows no marked fold, no apparent stain, and no tear on the visible side. The printing is crisp, the cancellations are well-centered and without visible smudges. The item is intended for philately, exhibition or album preservation.
