Description

This antique figurine depicts a standing woman holding a basket on her right arm. The object has a slender and elegant silhouette, typical of Starlux productions from the second half of the 20th century. The figurine wears a long, ivory or off-white dress, cinched at the waist with a wide brown band. The arms and head are painted in flesh tones, and the hair is treated in an auburn or reddish-brown shade. The shoes, clearly visible, are brown with a green sole, standing on a flat base of the same green hue. The oval-shaped basket is painted brown and contains a yellow element, probably a food item or a stylized object, true to the simple yet expressive details of the Starlux brand.
