Godzilla Bandai Kaiju King vintage figure, articulated monster, dark grey
AFW - Antique France Worldwide
Description
Figurine representing the famous monster Godzilla, from the Kaiju King series by Bandai. The object has a massive and imposing silhouette, typical of the Godzilla design from Japanese productions. The figurine is photographed from the front, standing on two legs, with the tail partially visible at the back, rising up on the right side.
The figurine's body has a detailed scaly texture, characteristic of Godzilla's reptilian appearance. Its head is wide, with a short snout, prominent eyebrows, and sculpted eyes, conveying the monster's recognizable expression. The arms are short and slightly bent, positioned forward, while the legs are robust and muscular, accentuating the character's massive appearance.
The dominant color is dark gray, with lighter shades on the belly, torso, and lower part of the head. The claws of the feet are painted pale yellow, which contrasts with the rest of the figurine. The back reveals the famous dorsal plates, sculpted in the same material and color, although only the beginning of their alignment is visible from this angle.
The surface finish is matte, with a slightly grainy appearance, reflecting the texture of a vintage toy. The articulations are visible at the arms, legs, and head, indicating that this figurine is partially articulated, allowing for some positions to be modified for play or display.
In the photograph, no logo or inscription is legible on the visible part of the object. The figurine is placed on a raw wooden surface, with a bookshelf in the background, which highlights its retro appeal and decorative presence.
Condition
Used item, sold as is. The figurine shows slight wear compatible with a vintage toy: no visible cracks or chips on the visible area, some discreet marks may remain on the surface, particularly on the ends of the limbs and the tail.
