Description

This antique figurine depicts a miniature Napoleonic soldier, made of painted lead, as mentioned in the keywords. The piece features a soldier in a dark blue uniform, typical of French imperial troops from the early 19th century. The figure wears a large black bicorne hat adorned with a tricolor cockade and a red pompom, emblematic elements of the Napoleonic uniform.

The soldier is depicted standing, with arms crossed over his chest. He wears a long navy blue jacket with red lapels and white piping visible on the sleeves, as well as a white bandolier across his chest. The details of the paint also highlight the presence of blue trousers with white stripes and black gaiters. A saber with a golden hilt and a brown backpack are attached to the left side of the figure, reinforcing the historical accuracy of the representation.

The rectangular base, also painted, has a rough and patinated finish, typical of old lead figurines. The paint shows signs of wear, particularly on the edges and accessories, attesting to the age of the piece and previous use. The soldier's face is detailed, with an expressive gaze and hand-enhanced features, giving the whole an authentic and vintage look.

The figurine has an overall matte surface, with some reflections related to the original paint. The details of the costume, such as the buttons, belt, and cockade, are painted with precision despite small losses of material in places, which is common on this type of antique object. No manufacturer's markings are visible on the presented side.
