Description

This natural specimen is an ammonite fossil, presented here in a front view that highlights its characteristic spiral morphology. The ammonite, clearly visible in the photo, exhibits a coiled structure with regular whorls, typical of Jurassic fossil cephalopods. Its surface has a light beige hue, with slightly darker nuances in places, accentuating the relief of the ribs and striae. The external texture shows fine grooves and some asperities, indicative of fossilization. The whole forms a piece with a natural mineral appearance, without apparent polishing.

The visible face shows the center of the coiling, where the initial chamber can be distinguished, as well as the complete spiral contour up to the end. No major chips are visible on the front surface, but small natural irregularities are present, reinforcing the authenticity of the fossil. The piece is photographed against a gilded backdrop with baroque motifs, which enhances its neutral tones and organic silhouette.

The dominant color is a stony beige, with lighter variations and grayish touches depending on the light. The external structure shows the undulations and reliefs characteristic of Jurassic ammonites, with well-preserved details on the main whorl. No inscriptions or marks are visible on the exposed part.

Used item, sold as is. Presence of small natural irregularities related to fossilization. The fossil shows good general preservation, with no visible restoration on the displayed face.
