Superb Louis XVI style dial pediment, dating from the 19th century, with a gilded finish. The object features an oval shape with an openwork center, probably intended to adorn a clock face or a piece of furniture. The reliefs are richly decorated, with an abundance of floral and foliate motifs, typical of French neoclassical decoration. At the top, there is a central rosette surrounded by garlands and stylized fruits, framed by acanthus leaves. The lower part is adorned with a symmetrical motif evoking crossed ribbons and large sculpted leaves.

The visible surface offers a luminous gilded finish, which highlights the sculpted volumes and decorative details. The whole presents a patinated appearance, revealing subtle matte and shiny nuances in places, characteristic of an antique ornament.
