Description

This lot, visible in the photo, is an old card of Mustad & Son brand fish hooks, reference Mustad-Limerick Hooks n°11, manufactured in Norway. The original label is made of white paper with black floral patterns all around, featuring a graphic presentation typical of the mid-20th century. It includes the "KEY BRAND" logo representing a stylized key, as well as numerous technical and geographical mentions.

The visible side indicates "O Mustad & Søn Manufacturers Oslo - Norway", "Qual. 496 Hollow Point", "Forged Reversed Flatted Blued", and specifies the quantity "100 No. 11" as well as the manufacturing "Made in Norway". The whole is presented in a richly decorated box, in baroque style, with a purple velvet background, which highlights the retro look and authenticity of this traditional fishing accessory.

The apparent condition of the card shows good preservation of the label, with no major tears or visible stains on the exposed side. The print remains clear, the black characters are easily legible on a light background, and the decorative patterns are intact. No hooks or accessories are visible in the photo; only the cardboard support is presented.

This type of accessory was frequently used by sport and professional fishermen, with the mention "Forged Reversed Flatted Blued" referring to classic hook manufacturing processes for better strength and durability. The n°11 size is explicitly mentioned on the front.

The presentation in an ornate box is not original Mustad, but serves here for photographic staging, highlighting the object for its decorative or vintage curiosity dimension.

Condition

Used item, sold as seen in the photo. The label shows good preservation, with a clear print and no apparent major defects.
