Description

Old harmonica of the M. Hohner brand, Echo-Luxe model, presented here in a large format version. The instrument is photographed from the front, allowing observation of the blow plate pierced with numerous holes arranged in two parallel rows. The visible front features a metallic and patinated finish, with copper-orange hues and marked traces of oxidation or wear, typical of prolonged use and advanced age.

The model name "ECHO-LUXE" is clearly visible in red letters on the upper left, while the brand "M. HOHNER" appears distinctly on the right. The entire casing shows scratches, impacts, and surface chips, particularly in the center, highlighting the vintage character and past use of this harmonica. No figurative decoration is present on the observed face; only a brushed or worn effect dominates the panel.

The general shape is elongated, rectangular with slightly rounded corners. The positioning of the blowholes and the typographic signature recall German-made harmonicas from the mid to late 20th century, in the tradition of popular musical instruments. The surface reveals a homogeneous patina over the entire visible part, with traces of corrosion and dark spots, indicating exposure to humidity or air over time.

On the visible side, no screws, buttons, or apparent mechanical elements other than the blowholes are observable. The design is sober, functional, with a flat top plate and a slight curvature on the side edges, typical of concert harmonicas or Echo models intended for versatile use. The object is photographed lying flat on a raw wooden support that highlights the contrast with the copper finish and the natural wear of the instrument.
