Description

Military unit badge presented in a rigid display case, featuring an enameled shield-shaped emblem. The badge, set against a burgundy red background, bears the inscription "3e RC" in golden letters on the lower part of the support, identifying the 3rd Cavalry Regiment. The central shield is adorned with a dark blue and red background, decorated with golden motifs representing stylized ermines, as well as fleurs-de-lis at the ends. In the center of the emblem, the date "1645" is indicated in gold, referring to the regiment's founding or a key date.

On the upper part of the badge, a silver banner bears the inscription "ESCLAINVILLIERS CAVALERIE", surmounted by a stylized golden crown, typical of traditional French military badges. The whole is protected by a transparent plastic box, which shows some signs of use and storage marks visible in the photo.

The finish of the badge evokes careful craftsmanship, with brightly colored enamel and clearly visible golden details. No major defects are apparent on the visible side. The rigid support offers an elegant presentation and effectively protects the badge.

The heraldic style and the presence of the "1645" inscription confirm the historical roots of this badge, typical of French military tradition. This type of object is sought after for its commemorative aspect and its connection to the history of cavalry regiments.
