Description

An antique metal casino token, presented here on a brown velvet background in a wooden box. This round token features a patinated metallic finish, typical of circulating pieces used in gaming establishments during the 20th century. The visible surface shows clear details, with some signs of wear and localized traces of oxidation, indicating actual use in a gaming room.

On the exposed side, a central engraving clearly shows a stylized clown's head, the iconic emblem of the famous Circus Circus casino in Las Vegas. The embossed inscription, clearly legible around the edge, states: "FOR USE BY PLAYER ONLY", "CIRCUS CIRCUS", "LAS VEGAS", "NEVADA", "ONE DOLLAR GAMING TOKEN", as well as the mention "1986" and a regulatory use reference. The overall graphics and typography used are characteristic of the mid-to-late 20th century, reinforcing the object's vintage authenticity.

The edge of the token is not visible in the photo, but the front face shows a nice homogeneity of texture, punctuated by a few small surface irregularities typical of struck metal.
