This antique token was designed for use in vending machines, as indicated by the embossed inscription on the visible side: "DISTRIBUTEURS AUTOMATIQUES S.A.F.A.A.". Round in shape, the token has a matte, patinated surface, typical of objects circulated in public or industrial environments throughout the 20th century. The lettering is arranged in a circle around the edge, with "S.A.F.A.A." centered in the middle, clearly legible despite some signs of wear.

The dominant color is dark gray with verdigris in places, suggesting a metallic alloy, though the exact material cannot be specified without further indication.
