Description

This document is an original copy of the French weekly newspaper entitled "Bref...", dated Thursday, November 15, 1928. It is an old press publication, identifiable by its typical late 1920s layout: paper yellowed by time, large typography, and capitalized headlines. The front page features the title "Bref..." in bold, topped with subscription information (price: six francs per year, address: 39, rue Louis-le-Grand, Paris) and the issue number (No. 27).

The visible page highlights a main article titled "Grande querelle littéraire" (Great Literary Quarrel), written by Paul Csell. The column layout, absence of illustrations, and text arrangement are typical of literary press from the 1920s. The margins are regular, and the paper has a slightly wavy appearance, with a central horizontal fold marked by storage.

The black ink, appearing slightly faded in places, remains generally legible. No advertisements or illustrations are visible on the displayed side. There is also a note regarding theater tickets on pages 6 and 8, which attests to the thematic diversity of this period periodical.

The newspaper is photographed open on a wooden desk, accompanied by a pair of antique glasses and a fountain pen (accessories not included). The bookshelf decor in the background reinforces the authenticity and retro character of this publication.

The graphic style, paper texture, and clearly printed date confirm that it is indeed a vintage press item from the 1920s, ideal for illustrating the history of French literature and press.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. The paper shows uniform yellowing, a prominent central fold, and small traces of wear on the edges, typical of a period newspaper. The printing remains legible. Sold without accessories visible in the photo.
