Description

This document is an authentic copy of the French newspaper "BREF..." dated Thursday, June 25, 1925, as indicated on the top right of the front page. The newspaper is presented open, displaying the front page, with a clearly legible title in capital letters, typical of interwar press publications. It is a traditional newspaper format, folded in half, placed on a light wooden surface, with a pair of antique glasses visible in the foreground, accentuating the retro atmosphere.

The layout, in tight columns, features feature articles, including one titled "CONTES DE FÉES" (Fairy Tales) occupying most of the left page, and a box on the right titled "UN CURIEUX ESSAI DE « OUI-JA » MUSICAL" (A Curious Musical Ouija Experiment). The black typography on cream paper yellowed by time, as well as the slight patina and undulation of the edges, attest to the age and vintage character of this issue. The top of the page mentions the subscription address in Paris, confirming the French origin of the periodical.

The paper has a matte appearance, with a fine mesh visible on the surface, typical of newspaper prints from the early 20th century. No decorative motifs are present; the graphics remain sober and functional, centered on the text and editorial boxes. The title "BREF..." occupies the entire top width, with mentions of sections and subscriptions on the left.

The newspaper is showcased in front of an old library, which highlights its decorative interest for a vintage or retro ambiance. The visible articles are written in French, with authors' signatures at the end of the text. The general condition shows yellowed paper, some signs of folding, and a slight curvature on the edges, with no major tears apparent on the visible side.

Condition

Used item, sold as is. Marked yellowing of the paper, visible creases, top right corner slightly dog-eared. No apparent restoration or modification on the exposed side.

Did you know? The newspaper "BREF..." was part of the French interwar press, a period marked by a great diversity of titles and editorial experiments, particularly in short and satirical formats. Newspapers from this era are now sought after for their documentary value on the cultural and social life of the 1920s.
