This lot features an old copy of the illustrated newspaper "Lisette," dated Sunday, October 22, 1933, visible at the top right of the cover. This magazine, intended for young girls, is number 43 of its thirteenth year (647th issue) and contains 16 pages, as indicated on the cover. The title "Lisette" is highlighted in an oval blue cartouche, accompanied by floral illustrations typical of the era.

The front cover features a colored illustrated scene depicting three young girls in a rustic courtyard, surrounded by books and scattered papers on the ground, in front of a wooden building. The scene, titled "Au fond d’une caisse" (At the Bottom of a Crate), is signed at the bottom left and refers to a story inside the issue (see pages 8 and 9). The colors, although patinated by time, remain vibrant and reflect the graphic style of the 1930s, with fine lines and soft color blocks.

The cover layout is typical of interwar youth press, with an editorial section at the top, the price "25 centimes" on a yellow background, and the indication "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper) below the title. The address of the offices in Paris is also noted, guaranteeing the authenticity of this period periodical.

The paper shows an even patina, with signs of yellowing and some visible stains, particularly on the edges. The upper edge and the lower right corner show slight signs of wear and folds, indications of old use and the passage of time. No major missing parts or tears are visible on the displayed side.
