This issue of "Lisette" magazine, dated Sunday, April 1, 1934, is an authentic illustrated periodical intended for young girls. The cover features a colorful pastoral scene, showing two young girls in traditional outfits, surrounded by farm animals (goat, sheep), with a thatched cottage and everyday rural objects in the background. The illustration is signed "Jean" and titled "Trois Roses" (Three Roses). The whole is distinguished by a meticulous composition and a pastel color palette typical of children's publications from the interwar period.
