This lot features an original copy of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, issue number 108, dated Monday, November 27, 1972. The front page of this issue is immediately recognizable by its prominent headline: "avortement : après l'ordre des médecins, l'ordre des boueux" (abortion: after the order of doctors, the order of garbage collectors), highlighted in black and red lettering against a gray background. The illustration, signed by Reiser, depicts a caricatured character in the author's inimitable style, with a black drawing outlined in vibrant red, typical of the magazine's graphic style at the time.
