An old issue of the French satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo, shown here in its 74th edition dated Monday, April 17, 1972. The front page features a black and white drawing on a red background signed Wolinski, depicting an immediately recognizable caricature, accompanied by the text "COMME MIREILLE MATHIEU" (LIKE MIREILLE MATHIEU) and the provocative slogan "VOTEZ DEBILE" (VOTE STUPID). A speech bubble "AREU AREU" (baby talk) completes the scene, in the incisive graphic style characteristic of the era.

The cover presents a typical layout of the early 70s, with a title on a white background in massive black letters, followed by a bright red box occupying most of the page. The central drawing, with thick lines, shows a stylized figure with a bob haircut, a cross pendant, and a white collar, in the irreverent humor typical of the publication.

The paper shows an antique patina, with a slightly yellowish cream tint, typical of old newspapers.
