Description

This lot concerns an authentic copy of the newspaper entitled Le Patriote Résistant. This is a French newspaper-format publication, immediately identifiable by its large front page predominantly green and black. The cover features a layout typical of post-war activist press, with a title in green capital letters on a white background, topped with the portrait of a historical figure (T.M. NANNES, president of the FNDIRP) in the upper left corner. The main headline "MÉDITE ET SOUVIENS-TOI" (MEDITATE AND REMEMBER) occupies most of the page, accompanied by two black and white photographs at the bottom of the front page: the Arc de Triomphe and a commemoration or public gathering scene.

The visible issue number is 476, dated June 1976 and priced at 2.50 F. The subtitle specifies "journal des déportés, internés et familles" (journal of deportees, internees and families), confirming the memorial and activist purpose of the periodical, centered on the memory of the Resistance and Deportation in France.
