This issue of the illustrated newspaper "Lisette", dated Sunday, May 20, 1934, is an authentic example of French youth press from the early 20th century. The colorful cover features a drawn scene depicting a young girl in a yellow dress, standing on a flowery balcony, observing a birdcage. The whole is framed by floral motifs and touches, characteristic of the aesthetic of the era.

The front page displays the title "Lisette" in a blue cartouche adorned with red roses, with the mention "Journal des fillettes" (Girls' Newspaper).
