This antique oil lamp features a typical design for models from the late 19th to early 20th century. It consists of an opaque white glass reservoir, rounded and slightly flattened in shape, topped with a brass burner with a patinated finish. The burner is adorned with an openwork gallery with decorative motifs, characteristic of period oil lamps. The notched wheel, clearly visible on the side, was used to adjust the height of the wick.

The top of the burner reveals the wick housing, still partially in place, with a textile edge browned by use. The whole shows a beautiful patina testifying to its age, especially on the metal parts where slight oxidation and traces of wear are observed. The white glass part has some marks and traces of dust, visible on the surface.

The sober and functional style of this oil lamp is in line with the tradition of utilitarian objects from the early 20th century, while offering a sought-after retro aesthetic for interior decoration. No pattern or mark is apparent on the visible side, highlighting the simplicity of its lines and the softness of the reservoir's material.

The upper part of the burner, with its crown-shaped cutouts and side wheel, evokes models produced in France and Europe at that time. The ensemble stands out for its authenticity and visual homogeneity: the contrast between the patinated brass and the opaque white glass brings an elegant and timeless touch.
