Description

Old handwritten administrative document, written in French on a large sheet of paper. The whole features regular cursive writing, in brown ink, with several signatures and initials at the bottom.

The upper part is adorned with printed fiscal stamps, including a 75-cent vignette and a circular stamp, accompanied by wavy decorative lines. The text mentions family names, elements of inheritance, movable and immovable property, in the legal and administrative vocabulary of the early 19th century.

This type of handwritten document is part of the administrative and notarial practice of the 19th century, a period during which civil acts, inheritances, partitions, and patrimonial declarations were largely handwritten, often on stamped or fiscalized paper.
