Description

Old letter issued by the company CETELEM, specializing in consumer credit, visible on the front. This period administrative document is a single, rectangular sheet, with an irregular cut on the bottom edge and signs of wear on the sides. The header displays "CETELEM" in capital letters, accompanied by the company's legal information: "Société anonyme au capital de 22 millions de nouveaux francs, 25, avenue Kléber – Paris (16e)". Also present are the period telephone number "Passy 97-69" and commercial register references, typical of administrative documents from the 1960s-1970s.

The body of the letter is typewritten, in French, and concerns a reminder of an unpaid monthly payment. The wording and presentation are characteristic of administrative correspondence in the banking and financial sector of the second half of the 20th century. A stylized CETELEM logo, printed in blue, is present in the center of the page, below the header. Two handwritten signatures are visible at the bottom of the document, attesting to its authenticity and actual use at the time.

The paper has a yellowed appearance, a sign of its age, and some folds and defects are visible, notably a central tear on the upper edge and a jagged cut at the bottom. The printing is clear, with sober typography, typical of vintage administrative correspondence. No back is visible in the photo.
