Description

Authentic handwritten letter consisting of two visible sheets, written in blue ink on cream paper. The text is handwritten, in tight and regular cursive script, covering almost the entire page. The header clearly indicates the date "Saturday, March 10, 45", placing this document at the very end of World War II. The first lines begin with "Mon chéri très chéri" (My dearest darling), showing an intimate and personal tone, presumably addressed to the author's wife.

The visible content, although partially legible in the photo, reveals a personal account of life circumstances during this pivotal period. The writing spans both sheets without significant margins, typical of correspondence from that era, when paper was sometimes scarce. No illustrations or decorative elements are present on the visible sides; only the handwritten text occupies the space.

The letter is placed on an old desk, with antique furniture or bookshelves in the background, highlighting the archival nature of this document. The ensemble presents a beautiful homogeneity of tone, with paper that appears to have acquired a slight patina due to time, typical of pre-1950 documents.

The calligraphy, fine and neat, shows particular care taken in the writing. Both pages are fully written, without erasure or apparent additions on the visible side. The text evokes daily life facts and personal feelings, characteristic of letters exchanged during the war.

Condition

Used letter, sold as is. The two sheets show a slight patina and traces of wear consistent with their age, with no major tears or stains visible on the exposed side. The ink remains legible, with no significant fading on this side.
