Old handwritten letter with its original envelope, dated 1946. The cursive, regular, and neat handwriting is perfectly legible on the visible sides. Some passages of the text are clearly decipherable, evoking themes of separation, family, and encouragement, which well illustrates the social context of the post-war period.

The envelope has a worn appearance with slight traces of use, without any major visible tears on the front. The red stamp, depicting a female profile, is well preserved and contributes to the authenticity of the set.
