Old handwritten letter dated 1947, accompanied by its original envelope, visible in the photograph. The set includes a white envelope with a red stamp from overseas France (6F), postmarked and dated 19-7-1947, addressed to "Madame Henri Blanc, Campagne Bouquet, La Calade, Puyricard (B.d.Rh.)". The address is written in blue ink, in neat cursive handwriting typical of the post-war period.

The letter itself consists of two distinct sheets, one on pale pink paper, the other on white or slightly greyish paper. The pink sheet has handwriting in black ink, with the legible signature "Geneviève". The visible content evokes an affectionate and familial tone, addressing a "chère Margot", and also mentions a certain Marie. The white sheet features fine handwriting, covering the entire visible page, also in French, with dense and personal text.

The writing style, choice of paper, and ink correspond to the aesthetic of private correspondence from the late 1940s. Fold marks are visible on the sheets, signs of authentic postal delivery, as well as a slight patina on the paper and some traces of use along the edges. The set offers a faithful glimpse into post-war postal correspondence, with its intimate character and period handwritten script.

The envelope, well preserved, shows signs of opening on the top edge but retains the legibility of all its postal elements: address, postmark, and stamp. The handwritten sheets show satisfactory preservation, with no major stains or visible tears on the exposed side, apart from a small fold mark on the pink sheet.
