Description

Period handwritten letter dated February 26, 1948, in Paris, visible on the upper part of the page. Written in blue ink on smooth white paper, this correspondence features regular cursive handwriting, typical of the post-war years. The text begins with "Dear Janine, dear Josie," followed by a personal development, and refers to a period of composition as well as philosophical subjects. The header and the structure of the text are clearly visible in the photograph.

The letter consists of at least one page, with regular margins and neat alignment. The paper has a slightly ivory (off-white) appearance, with no apparent decoration or watermark on the visible side. The blue ink is evenly distributed, with no major smudges, indicating proper preservation and careful writing. The handwritten lines and some words underlined with stronger pen pressure are clearly distinguishable.

The content evokes intellectual and personal themes, including a reflection on "sociability" and "solidarity" based on Comte's judgment, which places the letter in an educational or academic context of the time. The writing style and phrasing are characteristic of the mid-20th century, enhancing the historical interest of the document.

The top of the letter bears the handwritten mention "Paris 26 Février 48", confirming its geographical origin and precise dating. No stamp or envelope is visible in the provided photo, only the first page of the letter is shown. The edges of the paper are clean, with no tears or pronounced folds on the visible area.

The letter is placed on a natural wood surface, highlighting the contrast between the texture of the paper and that of the support. No decorative elements or additions (such as a drawing or illustration) are perceptible on the visible side of the document.
