Description Old handwritten letter dated 1899, visible in the photograph, written in black ink on cream paper folded into two leaves. The date "X.mas 99." is clearly visible at the bottom left, as well as a personalized greeting to a recipient named Henri. The letter begins with "Mon cher Henri," indicating a friendly and personal tone.

The upper right part of the sheet features a small printed decorative motif, appearing to be a stylized bird or bat. This graphic detail adds extra charm to the whole, typical of Belle Époque letterheads in Paris.
